Born into a family of musicians, LMK has been rocked by music from a young age. After 12 years of the conservatory at the service of the harp, she discovers herself a new instrument: her voice. She skims musical genres, venturing gradually in the middle Hip Hop and Reggae, for which she will feed a real passion. It is accompanied by the sound system Rhône-Alpiens “Anesthesia Sound”, that it will start to release the devastating flow that bubbles in it.

As at home in the Jamaican Rub-a-Dub, as she is in singing, she develops an urban style full of freshness tinged with jazz & soul notes. Preferring to write in English, her lyrics unceasingly address many themes about the world around her, affixing her critical eye, or simply declaring her passion for the rhythms that make her vibrate. At just 19, his ingenious talent, his sweet voice and his ease on stage leaves no one indifferent and makes LMK a very promising artist.

Since 2013, LMK, now supported by the Lyonnais label Greenlight shared scenes with artists such as Marina P, Mungo’s Hifi, Cali P, Skarra Mucci, Taiwan Mc, Kacem Wapalek, Naaman, Bhale Bacci Crew, Tippa Irie … She made an appearance at the 20th anniversary of the Rototom Sunsplash festival alongside OBF and the Reggae Sun Ska festival with Soom T, with whom she shares musically many affinities.

She is now releasing her first EP entitled “Starting Block”, a musical patchwork by different composers such as OnDubGround, Simple man …. The crossover between Hip Hop and Reggae music, this record is in the image of the artist, a subtle mix between aggressiveness and sweetness and should delight lovers of good vibrations.
