*Although the band, Delhi 2 Dublin , is based in Vancouver, Canada, the heritage of the founding members – Tarun Nayyar and Sanjay Saren – originates in Punjab – India, when their forefathers migrated to Canada in the early 20th century. Their sound represents an evolution of their Punjabi roots mixed with their present day Canadian traditions.

This episode is about their journey back into India,whilst bringing their special brand of global desi sounds which has evolved overseas, and finally reaching back to India, and collaborating with a folk singer from Punjab – Jeetu (Jatinder Singh), where he presents a special style of semi-classical vocal music, sung mostly by songstresses, known as baigees, in royal courts of Punjab.
